Introducing Plaid Great Site: Your Go-To Source for High-Quality Plaid Patterns

If you're a designer, artist, or simply someone who appreciates the timeless appeal of plaid patterns, we have some exciting news for you! Plaid-Patterns.com has just launched as a free hosted platform, offering an extensive collection of high-quality plaid patterns at your fingertips.

What Makes Plaid Great Site Stand Out?

  • High-Resolution Patterns: All plaid patterns are available in 1024x1024 pixels, ensuring that you get crisp and clear images suitable for a variety of projects—from digital designs to print materials.

  • User Voting System: Not only can you browse through a wide array of patterns, but you also have the power to vote for your favorites. This community-driven approach helps highlight the most popular designs and fosters a collaborative environment.

  • Generous Storage Limit: With a current hosting capacity of 5GB, there's plenty of room for a diverse collection of patterns. This means more options for you and a growing library that keeps getting better.

Our Vision for Growth

We're passionate about expanding Plaid Great Site to include even more features and an even larger collection of patterns. To achieve this, we're aiming to increase our hosting capacity beyond the initial 5GB limit. This is where we hope to involve the community.

How You Can Help

  • Spread the Word: Share the site with friends, colleagues, and anyone who might find it useful. The more people who use and contribute to the site, the richer the experience for everyone.

  • Consider Donating: As the site grows, so do the hosting costs. Donations will directly contribute to increasing our storage capacity and adding new features that enhance user experience.

  3. found this boingboing.net article saying that our site might be a fetish site. I don't know how I feel about that and how we're jumping from plaid-patterns to fetish. I tried selling my javascript plaid-pattern designer on etsy but couldn't sell it so I figure people are lazy to make the patterns themselves. Started this blog doing full service of plaid-patterns but don't like the format because it's not much reading when people just want to grab a plaid and go. Also with blog format you have to drill into each posts to just see one pattern it makes it difficult to browse many at once to compare. So the site is born. Anyways I am not sure if it's because I made it mobile friendly or if because of the boingboing article, traffic has gone up so Thanks for that.

  4. How is the site free?

well it's not it costs hosting fees which I hope in the future traffic will go up as more people know about it and use it and become the first go-to site for free plaid patterns and i can earn enough Google Adsense to keep it free forever.

I have a fiverr gig where I charge a little to make the patterns (because it requires me to make it and takes some time). But the site is already up and running and the patterns were automated and I thought isn't that the whole point of automation to relief people from manual work? so that's why I want to keep it free. Also If I wanted a plaid pattern for stickers or whatever product I can just browse and select one I like at will. It's easy access to patterns for me which I like, there's no reason to not share that ability with others.

    1. $5 not spent on hiring me on fiverr to make a plaid-pattern can be spent somewhere else and excites the economy in other ways who knows it might even be spent on products that use these free patterns.
